Well Day 8 is in full swing and it doesn't feel much different that days 1-7....well i guess it kind of does because i'm eating a fresh spinach salad with VERY little cheddar cheese and dressing and it is DELICIOUS! Where as this time last week I was eating a chicken sandwich from wendys....I think that's what is was. hmmm???
Anyways I unfortunately do have some less than pleasing news to tell you. You see yesterday I had to close at my job and I was CRAVING like hard core craving the wings we sell. And while I am proud to tell you I didn't give into that craving a little later while I was on my way home I got another craving for a Snickers and unfortunately I gave into that craving and bought 2 of the little ones not the king size the next lower size and I also got a Pepsi. I realize now that it deffinately wasn't worth it but I did give into that craving which sucks.
But today I have been doing very well I had a grilled cheese sandwich for breakfast and like I already mentioned I just ate the spinach salad. Did you know that 2 TBSP of ranch dressing is NOT a lot of dressing and it's 140 CALORIES!!! what the heck! 2 TBSP of that dressing just barely coated all the spinach I ate but it was still good and actually you really don't need that much dressing in you salads for one it's bad for you I mean 140 is no small amount of calories and then when you put A LOT of dressing on your salads it drowns it and you don't get almost any of the taste of the vegetable trust me I know. And I mean I guess if you don't like lettuce or spinach then that's a good thing but it really just cancels out all the nutrients you getting from the veggies because the dressing is SO bad for you.
Well I went to the gym again today for a little longer I think I went for about 50-55 mins instead of 45 mins. And of course the gym was amazing as always and I feel very worked out. I also noticed that when I first worked out my arms a few days ago my arms were REALLY hurting the next day and Today while I was stretching I noticed that my arms didn't hurt anymore and to me that's kind of a red flag because I'm the type of person that the only way I can prove to myself that I actually got a good workout is if I'm a. sore the next day or b. I'm sweating a lot and trust me I was sweating up a storm but the soreness is the major factor to me in whether I did anything or not. Well I have work again today but this time at 5 so i've got about an hours before I need to leave to go so i'm going to go relax a little.
